Seven Popeyes employees at a Milwaukee restaurant have been fired after they got into a fight.

What We Know:

  • Richard Fourte, a customer, said that he did not know that there was a fight until someone yelled out “it’s a fight”. He took out his cellphone and recorded parts of the altercation. He says that he did not see the part of the fight that occurred in the back of the restaurant but mentions that a group of employees ran to the back.
  • “This was an unfortunate, isolated incident which we take very seriously. The dining room was closed immediately after the altercation at 9:30 p.m. As a result of this, seven employees were terminated from the company, including the manager on duty,” says owner John Brodersen.
  • The cause of the fight is unclear, but the police state that there were no weapons used.

This isn’t the first time a fight or deadly incident has occurred at a Popeyes Restaurant this year.
